Whenever you’d meet someone, whether it be for work or seeing friends. They probably felt as though they were meeting the whole family. Because you would always tell them about the things we were doing and how you were so proud of us. You were so loving, nothing mattered to you more than us and that made you one incredible dad. I will forever model my values on yours, I will forever aim to be like you. And as much as you were proud of me I am and will always be proud of you. The last message you sent me was ‘maybe we can catch up tomorrow’. It might be a bit longer but I will catch up with you soon dad. I can’t wait to update you on what I’ve been doing with the band. Even though you can’t support me in person anymore I know that your unwavering support will continue. To think that the first 20 years of my life are the only ones I get to spend with you is heart wrenching. But still, The amount of love and passion you showed for my dreams will fuel me for a lifetime. You will be a part of every desicion I make, every song I write, every word I sing and every note I play. I’m sorry we couldn’t go back to Dorset together. I’m sorry you can’t come to any more of my gigs. I’m sorry we can’t stroll through the Brighton lanes again. I’m sorry we can’t call when I’m on my break at work. I’m sorry you had to go so soon. I hope you can rest knowing your unwavering love and support was life changing for me. Words don’t express it enough, I love you and I will always love you.

So shocked and saddened to hear about the loss of Nick. He was my cousin and I’m so glad I got to know him better in recent years. He was a lovely person who was very proud of his family and who was always interested in others. My last meeting with him was one quite by chance at Gatwick airport when he and Sam spotted us in WHSmith. They came bounding over to say hello with Nick wearing a fantastic large hat and looking forward to his family holiday in Athens. Rest in peace Nick. He will be deeply missed by many.
